Professional photographer in the corporative, industrial and documentary area, born in Caracas, Venezuela. His father was a French engineer and a amateur photographer that worked at the oil industry so his first years passed at the production oil camps communities at inland Venezuela. This circumstances  determined his special interest on industrial and documentary photography.

With two years of photography workshops and marine biology studies worked as institutional photographer for PDVSA along 19 years (Petroleos de Venezuela, at its moment was ranked as the third oil company in importance in the world) (1984/2003) working on annual reports, calendars, technical brochures, company magazines, cultural and environmental publications among others, traveling along the different related facilities around the world, showing not only the reality of the oil industry from those years but representing a reflection of the Venezuela geography as well the history  and culture of the country; a unique institutional effort that has not been repeated. Also made portraits of important personalities from the political and cultural life of Venezuela for institutional magazines of the oil industry.

Has followed up the building and civil engineering works on large projects of important significance as Caracas Metro, Orinoco River Bridge and Tocoma dam in Bolivar State (2005-2011), has participated in several photography exhibitions inside and outside the country, individual and collective, showing his work among other places in The Photography Center of the National Council of Culture (CONAC), Venezuela, 1998, and at the Mois de la Photo in Paris, France (1996) with his work about the Day of the Dead in the east coast of Venezuela. Won the second photography prize and especial mention in black and white photography at Americas Magazine of America State Organization OEA, (1987). Developed a collective educational project on the web of environmental character dedicated to spread investigation and scientific information related to Venezuelan coast conservation https://costadevenezuela.com. Collaborator at the Sea Museum of Margarita, Oriente University Sea Museum and Tortuga Island Foundation in different publications and projects always in the image production area.

His work also covers communities and individual recreation that tells realities from the rural Venezuela and in other cases joins intimate histories from the inland country reflected in several publications and books. Actually develops editorial projects of documentary character.
